Model Behavior: Lori Harvey Signs With IMG Models And WME
By Kyra Alessandrini · Updated May 1, 2024

Model behavior, indeed! Lori Harvey has officially signed with IMG Models and WME.

“It’s a dream to work with IMG Models and WME,” the 25-year-old entrepreneur and model told WWD. “I’m so excited for what this next chapter holds and am looking forward to expanding my business ventures across fashion, TV, film, and entertainment.”

Current clients include other world-renowned models such as Gigi and Bella Hadid, Haily Bieber, Precious Lee, and Paloma Elsesser. Harvey, who has garnered conversation amongst the masses for her timeless beauty and sense of tyle, will continue to build her modeling portfolio with IMG.

At WME, Harvey will focus on a wide variety of entertainment content, ranging from “television, digital content, acting, producing and beyond,” according to the agency. Celebrities signed at the company include Dwayne Johnson, Selena Gomez, Eva Longoria, and former Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell.

“My dream agency! Excited to be part of the fam,” Harvey wrote on Instagram following the official announcement.

Signing to these mega-agencies wasn’t Harvey’s first step into becoming a millennial it girl. She has recently founded her skincare brand SKN by LH and in the past, has attended the Met Gala, sat on the committee for Miss Universe 2021, and was even a panelist at this year’s Essence Festival of Culture.

However, being in the public eye has come with its share of difficulties for the model. She previously talked about the pressures that come with being in the limelight of the fashion and entertainment industries.

“When I was younger, I really paid attention to what people thought about me and how people thought my body looked,” Harvey told PopSugar in a cover story interview. “When I started modeling, I felt like I had to get super skinny because I wasn’t tall. I’m naturally more curvy, so I put a lot of pressure on myself to be a certain size and look a certain way. It took such a toll on me mentally.”

Focusing on mental health became a priority in order to counter the negative effects of having a high-profile career. “It can be a breeding ground for negativity – it can get really toxic and just take a toll on people’s mental health,” Harvey added. “I had to start prioritizing my mental health as I got older with things that were affecting me negatively.”
