In December, rapper G Herbo and socialite Taina William’s shared the news of their second pregnancy. As the couple continues to prepare for the birth of their little girl, they’re celebrating with a stunning all-pink baby shower.
The couple also has a a son, 11-month-old Essex, together.
G Herbo, real name Herbert Wright III, is a rap artist who most recently appeared on Coi Leray’s song “Thief in the Night.” Williams is a fashionista with a following of over 2 million on Instagram. Her mother, Emily B, appeared on early seasons of “Love and Hip-Hop: New York.” She is also close friends with Reginae Carter.
G Herbo and Williams, who have been together for about 2 years, have expressed they have plans to marry.
The rapper also has a son, Yosohn, with entrepreneur Ari Fletcher.
For the pretty in pink shower, the family worked with Priceless Event Planning, a Black-owned event planning company founded by Khadidra Muhammad. The theme of the shower was “April Showers Bring May Flowers.”
Williams’ mother, Emily, helped with planning. “If there’s one thing we’re gonna do..it’s execute a theme!,” Emily wrote on Instagram. “When we starting planning, Taina wanted “April Showers Brings May Flowers”. Our baby girl is due in May so how perfect!”
She continued, writing, “I knew I had to bring on [Priceless Event Planning] to bring the vision to life! We spoke about ideas and inspiration and boom she killed it! This was beyond my expectations! I was blown away by all the details. So beautiful.”
One of the ceiling and a few walls at the location were decorated with umbrellas to tie back into the concept. Some of the umbrellas also had strings of crystals around them, allowing them to double as a fresh take on chandeliers. The accents also gave the illusion of rain.
Williams shared photos from the shower on Instagram.
The space was covered with balloons in various shades of pink, as well as flowers.
Of course, it’s not a baby shower without a fun game. For the happy couple’s party, there was a “pacifier hunt.” There were 24 pacifiers hidden in throughout the hall, and the person who found the most won.
There was also a dining area with ornately decorated tables. Catering was done by Chef Tasia
