Cordae Releases New Collection With Puma

The new deal is in collaboration with Hi-Level

Rapper Cordae has a lot on his plate these days regarding new music, soon-to-be child with partner Naomi Osaka, and partnerships. The latest venture for the 25-year-old is stepping into new territory with a collaboration between his collective brand Hi-Level and PUMA. The Grammy-Nominated artist and footwear brand introduced an eight-piece collection of garments with a reenergized, street-style look.

“Hi-Level, that’s owned 100 percent by me. This is something I’m passionate about,” Cordae told the Earn Your Leisure podcast. “All my friends, we all on that Hi-Level sh-t. All my fans are all on that Hi-Level shit, so this is something that’s near and deep to my heart, and I own it. It’s my sh-t.”

“Proud to announce The OFFICIAL PUMA-HI LEVEL SNEAKERS HITS FOOTLOCKERS this THURSDAY!!!” he wrote on Instagram

The collection includes an array of dark colorways, bold graphic prints, and classically designed runners like the HI-LEVEL Suede and HI-LEVEL RS-X featuring the signature PUMA logo. Affordably starting at $40, the collaboration has created a gray denim textured jacket, hoodie and sweatpants coordinate and a few t-shirts.

“The Hi-Level Suedes are super important to me because of the details. The carefully thought-out details throughout the shoe,” Cordae told GU. “The metal tips, the Hi-Level logo placement, and the red accents. I wanted to have a shoe that you could wear with almost anything.”

“That wasn’t a focal point whereas Rihanna’s with PUMA, I wanna be with PUMA; Jay-Z’s with PUMA,  I wanna be with PUMA. It happened organically,” he told Nice Kicks. “They started off with one of my music videos, and they [were] just sending me gear. I really enjoyed the gear.”

The PUMA x CORDAE HI-LEVEL collection is now available online and in-store exclusively at PUMA and Foot Locker.
