Every season we find another fashion It girl to add to our Mount Rushmore of award-show fashionistas. This year Quinta Brunson takes the cake as she and her stylist Bryon Javar create hit after hit with her red-carpet looks.
The Abbott Elementary actress is helping girls who are shorter than five feet and five inches tall. Now they know that they can wear regal long gowns and still feel powerful and confident in their height.
Now that award season is coming to a close Brunson solidified her place as one of the fashion girls to look out for from classic fringe to metallic glamour. Check out some of our favorite looks from Quinta’s award season.
Golden Globes
The Golden Globes kicked off the plethora of looks Brunson had in store for us. The custom Christian Siriano ruffled gown hugged her curves and proceeded to flow outward giving that classic mermaid look.
Critics Choice Awards
For the regal Critics Choice Awards, she gave us an evening look by wearing a chocolate brown glitter gown with her signature ruffles. To complement the look she wore a top knot bun to show off her face and elevate her neck.
NAACP Image Awards
The 33-year-old wore a metallic and golden “Alien Superstar” inspired Dundas dress. The ensemble paired well with a blown-out hairstyle and gold earrings to bring out the accents of the lower part of the gown.
SAG Awards
Quinta curated her go-to looks throughout this award season, and through her SAG award outfit fans can see that she loves a simple yet staple moment with each fashion moment. The Jean-Louis Sabaji gown resembled a dark mermaid tail as she had a seashell top that accentuates her hips at the bottom.
Film Independent Awards
This sunshine yellow garment brought all of the Black girl magic out of Brunson. With an eccentric pattern at the top paired with a frilly bottom, the look is nothing short of fun. For this look the hair was pulled back into a chic low ponytail to bring out her facial features and bring all eyes to the gown.
ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood
What better way to close out award season than at the ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood event? The actress stepped out in a hot pink outfit and a high afro puff ponytail to highlight her frame making her look like a life-size Barbie doll.
