Good Grief! Converse Launches Limited-Edition ‘Converse x Peanuts’ Collection

The launch includes apparel, hats, and customizable Chuck Taylors!

Chuck, meet Chucks! The nostalgia-filled collaboration we didn’t know we needed is here as Converse announced its humorous, joyous partnership with the Peanuts gang. That’s right, all of your favorites from Snoopy and Woodstock to Violet and Charlie Brown are all featured in this limited-edition collection of Converse sneakers, clothing, accessories, and customizable Chucks – also known as The Chuck.  

With the unisex high-top Converse x Peanuts Chuck Taylor All Star starting at $70 USD, the Converse x Peanuts collection includes sneaker styles such as the Chuck 70 and the One Star. There’s something for everyone in this collection and even if you’re not a sneakerhead, there are tees, a crew, a polo, shorts, a bucket hat, and a backpack. waiting to be added to your virtual shopping cart.

“This partnership with Peanuts was born out of a collective desire to celebrate humor and positivity,” a Converse spokesperson told Girls United. “The stories of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock, and the rest of the Peanuts gang resonate for so many people across generations, and we’re so pleased we were able to bring this collection to life with footwear and apparel options for all age groups.”

When asked by Girls United how old cartoons and Y2K styles are making a comeback in the fashion industry, the Converse spokesperson did not hesitate in excitement to share what the brand has been up to lately. “In fact, Converse partnered with Pokémon on a collection earlier this year in celebration of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary,” the spokesperson said. “It’s only natural that as Millennials and Gen-Z age, we’ll see more nostalgia from those generations resurface in the industry.”

They continued, “What makes Peanuts a unique partner is its longevity. The comic is nearly 75 years old, and yet it remains a touchpoint even for kids today. It’s truly a testament to Peanuts that it has managed to remain a cultural icon for so long, and we hope fans of both the comic and Converse, young and old alike, are able to enjoy this collection.”

The Converse x Peanuts collection launched on May 24 in a global release at Converse.com and select retailers, and is available now for limited-edition purchasing.
