There are so many memorable components to Fashion Week, from the designer spotlights to new spring items. Still, for many Gen Z’ers, the best part is seeing what your favorite celebrity will wear.
One of the best feelings is seeing your fave on the timeline at some of the hottest shows in the most exclusive pieces. From the Sergio Hudson show to Kim Shui, the celebrities did not come to play this season.
Fashion Week evolved tremendously thanks to social media; now it’s more about who’s in the front row. Thanks to girls like Ice Spice, Flo Milli and more, you’ve got new looks to add to your Pinterest boards.
Since Fashion Week only happens twice a year, this is a moment for creatives to be risqué and whimsical. The creative possibilities are endless, and you’re bound to see fits galore. Here are some of the Zillennial looks we can’t stop thinking about.
Doechii
The Swamp Princess stepped out in an eccentric fit for the Kim Shui show. Doechii is sporting blonde hair with a brown and nude set. The alt girl at heart is channeling a powerful look with hot pink pumps to match her headband.
Ice Spice
Ice Spice remains true to her around-the-way girl aesthetic and our favorite part, her curly ginger hair. She’s wearing a sexy lace top showing off her cleavage with a low-rise nude skirt with sheer lining on the sides, making this a classic Ice Spice look.
Flo Milli
Flo Milli will always be an It Girl in fashion; not only does each piece complement her body, but the face card never declines. This lime green lace bodysuit paired with pink furry shoes was everything. To top off the look, she rocks platinum blonde hair to have all eyes on her as she walks into any event during NYFW.
Monaleo
Monaleo is channeling a new look with a mullet nostalgic to Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad era. She’s wearing a fiery pink ensemble that brings out the subtle highlights in her hair. The new mommy is now stepping back on the scene with a bang, letting us know the looks will never stop.
Saweetie
Saweetie has always been intentional with her fashion choices, as she pays homage to nostalgic looks in the early days of fashion. Her red sequin gown hugs the curves of her body and shows off her killer stomach and cleavage for any photo opportunity. She wears a classic updo hairstyle with curls and a traditional side swoop to compliment her dress.
Coco Jones
Coco Jones continues to hit us with nonstop looks that are sleek and effortless. Her all-black attire is reminiscent of “The Matrix” with a modern twist as she wears a blunt-cut bob to achieve a seamless moment with this garment.
Jodie Woods
Jodie Woods keeps us on our toes for this Fashion Week as she steps out with such natural and graceful looks for Fashion Week. With a trench coat dress and wet and wavy hair, she embodies this season’s soft glam look.
Marsai Martin
Marsai Martin knows how to make us fall more in love with her style daily. At the Area show, she has on a simple yellow dress with silver accents on the end. For her accessories, she has on classic bangles with large hoop earrings, giving us a young and effortless moment.
Lola Brooke
As a true New Yorker, Lola Brooke wears a green suit that reminds us of a 90s nostalgic look with signature timbs and a chain belt that is true to her essence as a performer and reflects her gritty and straightforward style.
