Yung Miami, who is half of rap duo City Girls, took her mother out to attend an NBA playoff game on May 2. The 28-year-old rapper and her mother, Keenya Young, wore matching outfits for the occasion.
They sat courtside to watch the game opposing the Philadelphia 76ers to Miami Heat. “At that heat game on wood,” wrote Yung Miami on Instagram, followed by red heart emoji.
The rapper – whose birth name is Caresha Romeka Brownlee – posted a series of Instagram photos showing her outfit and enjoying the game with her mother. For the occasion, she wore a white corset-style maxi shirt with a red Prada top layered underneath. Yung Miami accessorized her outfit with a bedazzled red lip-shaped clutch, a pair of white and red Prada heel pumps and white square sunglasses. She also sported a sleek bob, a choker chain necklace and a bubblegum pink manicure, which tied her whole look together.
Yung Miami’s mother, Keenya Young, also took to Instagram to share her own outfit pictures. Young looked stunning in her all-white outfit, which consisted of a form-fitting short-sleeve dress with matching pumps and a white Chanel bag. Young paired her outfit with a chain matching her daughter’s, a white manicure and a slicked back ponytail.
Yung Miami and her mother weren’t the only celebrities to attend the game. The 28-year-old rapper posted a picture with DJ Khaled, who was also in attendance.
Outside of this public appearance, Yung Miami has been keeping busy as of late. She just performed at Coachella with JT. The City Girls will also be performing at Strength of a Woman festival in Atlanta on May 7, just in time for Mother’s Day weekend. The lineup includes artists like Mary J. Blige, Queen Naija and Baby Tate.
