While actress Sierra Capri has wrapped up the fourth and final season of Netflix’s On My Block, the 23-year-old may also be reminiscing about her college days at Armstrong State University, which she decided to put on hold when she landed the role on the popular show. As young actor on the rise, Capri has landed a partnership with skincare brand, St. Ives, with whom she’s also teaming up with to grant one college student $50K for tuition and books.

In addition to the cash prize for one school year, the winning student will also receive a year-supply of St. Ives Solutions. In a conversation about the partnership, Capri told Teen Vogue that she didn’t frequently use skincare products in her younger years, but now she’s developed a more consistent routine to prevent breakouts.
In an Instagram caption, Capri thought back to her collegiate journey, saying, “one less thing for you to worry about (cause lord knows I was stressed).'” Capri further discussed her times as a college student with Teen Vogue, saying, “I’m going to miss the life lessons and how college really forces you to be an adult.”
St. Ives’s Solutions Line is Capri’s favorite and she’s previously described her full routine. The actress starts with the Acne Control Daily Cleanser, followed by the Clear Skin 3-in-1 Daily Toner, and ends with the Clear Skin 3-in-1 SPF Moisturizer.
Capri says she loves that St. Ives products are dermatologist tested, and she also tested their products on her skin for a month before agreeing to the partnership with the brand.
“Their products are also literally built for stress. I don’t know one person that doesn’t have stress, especially in college,” Capri said in the interview. “I was a college student once, and I know that stress from school can trigger acne breakouts and reduce your confidence.”
The deadline for the St. Ives’ Free Your Stress for Free Tuition Contest has ended, but we’re confident that this isn’t the last we’ll hear from Capri, or her partnerships.
