The LoveShackFancy spring collection embodies everything for your soft girl era, from tulle to high necklines. The founder, Rebecca Hessel Cohen, found inspiration in eras of British history where ruffles and dainty materials for a modest approach. Of course, in 2023, she yassified the beloved era to fit more toward Gen Z and Gen Alpha demographics. Inspired by her Gen Alpha daughters, she wanted kids to have pieces made for their age group.
The motivation for this display stems from all things timeless. In the era of fast fashion, designers are looking to get back to the basics regarding quality fabrics, materials and creations. The spring collection showcased an array of blazers, cargo pants, slip dresses and more. For Cohen’s vision, she takes us through a frilly journey on the runway.
LoveShackFancy is putting a twist on the possibilities of office attire. For many Gen Z’ers, making your office debut is like a rite of passage, and you always want to slay. This all-white ensemble gives you a fun and playful vibe with the blouse and trousers lace detailing. To add balance, the solid white blazers provide a subtle addition to balance out the lace, so now all eyes are on you the second you step into work.

“You’ll never believe our best-selling styles [from fall] are tops, jackets, and pants,” Cohen told Vogue.
Throughout the collection, she remains true to the theme of a reimagined version of ruffles and crimped detailing in her pieces. The way her dresses flow creates the perfect spring vibe for when you’re out with friends on a cool and breezy day.
Though there are new stylistic choices, this is still LoveShackFancy, so the daintily layered ensembles are the ultimate money-makers for the collection. Looking at each piece, there’s a sense of variety for all age groups. Even though Cohen took inspiration from her daughters, there’s still a level of maturity in the items.

One of the stand-out pieces is the sexy silk skirt set with powder puff pink accents. The material delicately accentuates the body. The piece is perfect for spring with various pastel colors and lace material.
Overall, the collection presented many materials, from strapless dresses to bold Barbie pink power suits. Cohen’s vision came to life through effortlessly feminine clothing and spring-filled patterns for 2024.
