Welcome to the Girls United Gen Z business spotlight feature celebrating Black Business Month. Created in 2004 by historian John William Templeton and engineer Frederick E. Jordan Sr, the two wanted to create an agenda to support Black businesses.
As time evolved, we’ve seen the next generation discover value in the Black dollar. Gen Z’ers realize the importance of ownership. According to PNC Bank, About 62% of Gen Zers have started or plan to start their own business.
To celebrate a month that allows business owners to share their products and services, the first Gen Z brand we want to spotlight is the Purple Vault. Check out our top items to purchase from the Black-owned brand.
