It’s no secret that the girls have been obsessing over Lori Harvey’s abs and workout regimen since she revealed on the red carpet that she swears by pilates. For a special New York Fashion Week surprise, GYMSHARK made their highly-anticipated Big Apple debut with The Skin You Gym in Studio with brand ambassador Lori Harvey and top female gamer Valkyrae. As their new brand ambassador, Harvey showed up to the activewear brand’s event on September 10th to bring beauty, wellness, and GYMSHARK’s new “Sweat” collection.
“The whole event was incredible,” Harvey exclusively told Girls United. “I always love spending time with my Gymshark fam. It was my first time doing a silks pilates class, my friends and I had a blast.” Her featured GYMSHARK look included the Sweat Seamless Sports Bra – Winter Teal ($46) and Sweat Seamless Sculpt Leggings – Winter Teal ($64), available to shop now on the brand’s official site.
In addition to a showroom featuring the latest drops to New York Fashion Week’ers and city-goers, the launch day included a day of Aerial “Silks” Pilates classes and facial workouts courtesy of FaceGym.
“With this partnership, I hope I can inspire people to set and achieve their fitness goals – and look good in some new Gymshark while doing it,” Harvey previously told ESSENCE about her partnership with the brand when her ambassadorship was first announced. “I’m super excited to be the face of a new collection because it’s made especially for my favorite type of workouts! Stay tuned.”
As the fashion streets talk, we’ve seen the buzz that is fashion “it” girl hitting the New York City pavement. From sitting pretty front row at FENDI to making noise at Michael Kors, Harvey once again proved that her fashion is not one to be played with. Not in 2022, and not ever.
