If there’s one holiday that gives the perfect opportunity to get all glammed up, it’s Valentine’s Day. This year, celebrities celebrated love by dressing up all in red.
The 17-year-old actor Marsai Martin posted snapshots of her Valentine’s Day photoshoot on social media. She posed in front of a simple white backdrop and wore a beautiful crimson red gown designed by Dolce & Gabbana. Martin styled her braids in an updo for the occasion. “This has to be my new favorite braided updo Lewk on my fav Marsai Martin,” wrote Alexander Jordan, her hairstylist. Martin was photographed by Jacob Webster, who recently shot celebrities such as Chloe, Doja Cat and Lori Harvey.
The 17-year-old sent out a message of self-love with this photoshoot. She wished herself a happy Valentine’s Day. In a caption, she shouted out her own press-on nail brand Mari by Marsai, calling it her “forever valentine.”
The singer and performer Normani also shared a Valentine’s Day-themed photoshoot with her fans. The 25-year-old was photographed by Blair Calwell and posed in a 90s inspired all-red bustier top with matching lace-up heels and underwear. Her outfit was adorned with silver jewelry embroidered into her top and worn on her neck and both her wrists.
Not only did Normani choose to bless her fans’ social media timelines with a gorgeous photoshoot, she also curated a Spotify playlist to celebrate Valentine’s Day. She entitled it “you’re my favorite still” and captioned it “love can often be sweet but doesn’t mean it’s always fair.” The singer added 29 songs ranging from R&B classics by Brandy to modern takes on the genre by Summer Walker.
The singer and performer Chloe, who often shares themed photoshoots with her fans, dressed all in red to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The 23-year-old posed in a red backless dress on pink satin sheets and in front of pink velvet drapes. She switched up her hairstyle for the occasion and sported a mane styled by celebrity hairstylist Kira Dior.
Chloe also shared a new music video for “you & me,” by her boyfriend Gunna, just in time for the holiday. The singer added her heavenly vocals to the title in an outward – and very sweet – demonstration of love.
