For the release of her single, ‘Thot S–t,’ Megan Thee Stallion has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Performance. She is up against Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, J. Cole, 21 Savage and Morray, Drake, Future and Young Thug.
At the top of 2021, she walked away with 3 Grammys following the release of her smash single “Savage.” She dedicated the big moment to her late mother, Holly Thomas, who passed away from a brain tumor in early 2019.
Her debut album, Good Days, was released in the fall of 2020.
The rapper was also recently named Woman of the Year by Glamour Magazine and was featured on the September 2021 Global Fashion Issue of ESSENCE. She is prepping for the release of her sophomore album, tentatively titled, ‘Tina Snow 2.’
Megan is also set to graduate from Texas Southern University in December 2021.
