After two successful years, #GUCreatorsHouse is back at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture™, and this time, we’re expanding the experience. In partnership with @r29unbothered, Girls United will host this year’s activation on July 5th and 6th at a new location: Common House New Orleans.
Now in its third year, GU Creators House remains a space designed with Gen Z and millennial creatives in mind. It’s a place to connect, create, and collaborate—whether you’re a content creator, entrepreneur, or simply someone who values culture and community. The event is free and open to those looking to engage meaningfully with others in the digital and creative space.
This year’s move to Common House brings a more curated, aesthetically-driven setting that aligns with the evolving identity of ESSENCE Festival’s younger audience. Along with the venue change comes a fresh lineup of programming meant to spark conversation, encourage innovation, and provide useful tools for creators at every stage of their journey.
