At CurlyCon LA, the curls were out, indeed! With hair being classified as one of the top self-expressive physical features, event-goers showed up and showed out with their curly looks.
Attendees arrived at the second annual beauty event sporting different hairstyles, including curly mohawks, colored coils, and angelic afros. The one-day curly convention, founded by CEO Ava Pearl, held various expert-led panels and beauty activations designed to educate guests about the importance of curl maintenance and foster an interactive communal space to uplift fellow curlfriends. Alongside the day’s festivities, attendees were also able to collect handcrafted flower crowns to further glamorize their curlydos and secure some free hair care samples from Shea Moisture, Cantu, LUSH, Rizo’s Curls, and others.
