Not even one week after graduating from Texas Southern University, Megan Thee Stallion is back to putting her business prowess to work. It’s been reported that the rap artist has inked a first-look deal with Netflix.
“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix,’ said Megan The Stallion in a statement sent to Shadow and Act. “Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.”
Through the deal, the “WAP” rapper will create and serve as the executive producer new series. She will executive produce additional projects as well.
Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s Head of Comedy said, “Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey.”
Megan has previously expressed interest in television before, saying that she would love to make her own horror film.
