After the internet went into a social media frenzy over the brand’s Baguette Bag in 2023, Panera is back with another accessory that’s part high fashion and part high-function. This time, it’s a croissant-shaped clutch, and it’s inspired by their new Croissant Toast Sandwiches that’s ultra buttery and perfectly flaky.
For fashion maximalists and Panera obsessors, the Croissant Clutch features pleated brown faux leather mimicking the golden layers of a croissant, complete with a gold kiss-lock closure, a detachable chain strap, and a little Panera “P” emblem that gives it just enough flair. Plus, It’s insulated, so it’s actually made to keep your sandwich warm while on the go.
“Just as our new Croissant Toast Sandwiches bring an exciting twist to mealtime, the Croissant Clutch celebrates the innovative flavors of our spring menu in signature Panera style,” said Mark Shambura, Chief Marketing Officer at Panera Bread. “We are always exploring new ways to connect with our guests, from craveable meals to playful expressions of our brand – including this unique fusion of food, function and fashion.”
The launch is tied to Panera’s new menu item Croissant Toast Sandwiches, which are already becoming fan faves. Two flavors are available for a limited time are the Croque Monsieur with Black Forest ham, melty provolone, asiago, and a caramelized onion + gruyere spread and Fromage with provolone, American cheese, caramelized onions, arugula, and garlic aioli.
The clutch itself is available now for $39.50 online, and it comes with a $15 Panera gift card for an instant lunch. Whether you’re heading to brunch, going somewhere with a camp dress code, or just love a good croissant, consider it your new favorite bag.
