This New York Fashion Week isn’t just for luxury designers, or freshman runways. Everyday commerce like Oh Polly had the crowd star struck with its glamorous collection. As each model strutted the runway using their smize and personality, the outfits hit the stage lights, illuminating each look.
In conjunction with NYFW Shows powered by Miami Swim Week, the cutesy brand showcased over 20 pieces, making it their largest runway show to date. The assemblage consisted of day to evening wear, mostly of dresses in a variety lengths, designed with sequins, corsets, ruffles, cutouts or satin finishes. The first look of the night was an ultra red maxi, completely covered in sequins and a thigh slit. Other standout looks from the night were a similar version in an exemplary nude, but sleeveless and silver as well as a glitzy, mini, purple halter, that was likely designed for girls night out.
The crowd consisted of an influencer safari, sporting Oh Polly or adjacent garments, perfectly defined as the O.P consumer. The demure types were surely the fan favorite for this NYFW show, with attendees covered in light pastels, chic heels and iPhones eyeing each look they were ready to buy off the runway.
The Oh Polly collection will likely release in its’ inclusive sizing, 0-14, and at affordable prices ranging from $17 to $390. With a 5.9 following, the boutique is essential at curating and being on the cusp of trends for the everyday shopper and it’s evident next summer will be for everyone’s inner party girl.
